What is tattoo aftercare?
Aftercare is the routine of cleaning, moisturising and protecting your fresh tattoo while it heals. It typically lasts 2–4 weeks and has a major impact on the final look.
Each artist provides their own aftercare instructions — follow them precisely. The main rules: keep it clean, don't pick scabs, avoid sun and swimming for the first few weeks.
