Each artist sets their own policy. Example ('flexible' preset): 100% refund >48h ahead, 50% between 24 and 48h, 0% <24h. Clearly displayed before payment. If the artist moves your appointment, you can cancel within 48 h with a full refund.

Do I need an account to book?
You can freely browse portfolios and filter by city or style without an account. To contact an artist, you create a client account with your email, no password. After that, quotes, deposits and consent forms travel through secure email links: your booking and conversation stay reachable anytime.
Are tattoo artists verified on InkMeet?
Not systematically. An artist's page goes public once they have published 3 works, without prior review by InkMeet. The 'verified' badge is granted manually by the InkMeet team and only shows on the profiles that have it. Reviews, on the other hand, can only come from a client whose appointment is completed, one per appointment.
What is the deposit amount?
10% by default, but each artist can set their own.
Can I cancel?
Yes, according to the artist's policy (displayed before payment).
Are payments secure?
Yes, via Stripe (PCI-DSS, 3D Secure).
What if I don't like the proposed design?
The quote and design are validated before the deposit — nothing is locked.
Can I contact multiple artists?
Yes, as many as you want before booking.
How does Stripe Connect work?
The artist creates an Express account; deposits are paid directly to their bank account.
Does InkMeet charge a commission?
0% commission on the artist's earnings. After the 30-day free trial, the artist either picks the Pro plan at €49/month or stays on the permanent Free plan. The client pays a transparent 5% service fee (minimum €1.50) only on the deposit settled online at booking. The remaining balance is then settled directly with the artist, in person or by bank transfer, with no fee.
