Browsing artists, sending requests and chatting are 100% free for clients. The only cost is a 5% InkMeet service fee (minimum €1.50) applied only to the deposit settled online when you confirm a booking (example: a 100€ deposit becomes 105€). The remaining balance is then settled directly with the artist, in person or by bank transfer, with no fee. This fee is clearly shown before you pay. No subscription, no signup fee, no hidden charges.

You can freely browse portfolios and filter by city or style without an account. To contact an artist, you create a client account with your email, no password. After that, quotes, deposits and consent forms travel through secure email links: your booking and conversation stay reachable anytime.

Each artist sets their own deposit percentage (10% by default). When you confirm a booking, you pay the deposit via Stripe — funds are collected securely and go directly to the artist's account. The remaining balance is then settled directly with the artist, in person or by bank transfer. Only the deposit transits through InkMeet.

Not systematically. An artist's page goes public once they have published 3 works, without prior review by InkMeet. The 'verified' badge is granted manually by the InkMeet team and only shows on the profiles that have it. Reviews, on the other hand, can only come from a client whose appointment is completed, one per appointment.

Yes. Each artist sets their own cancellation policy, shown transparently before you pay. For example, the 'flexible' preset refunds 100% more than 48 h before the session, 50% between 24 h and 48 h, and nothing under 24 h. Only the artist can move an appointment: if they do, you have 48 h to cancel with a full refund.

From an artist's profile, open the inquiry form and describe your idea: placement, size, budget, references and dates that suit you. The artist receives your request in their dashboard and replies directly in the InkMeet chat, where you can keep sharing images and refining the project until you agree on a quote.

InkMeet acts as a technical intermediary — the contract for the tattoo is directly between you and the artist. If a dispute arises (quality issue, no-show, refund request), contact the artist first to find a resolution. If you can't reach an agreement, you can open a ticket with our support team who may intervene to help mediate.

The site can be used from any country and is available in 7 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and Italian. You can switch language at any time. Online payments (deposits and subscription) are made in euros.
